Centre Georges Pompidou, (known locally as Beaubourg) was completed in 1977 in the hi-tech style design by Architect Renzo Piano and Richard Rogers. It houses a public library. The centre has an outdoor plaza that attracts daily buskers and crowd, there is a roof top restaurant, ‘Georges’ with view of the Eiffel and over much of Paris, a perfect spot to see the picturesque Parisienne sunset over a glass of wine.
